I Dont Have Time to Work Out… BS (bag o snookies)

Probably one of the biggest excuses is I dont have time to work out.  And I’m sorry, I’m going to call you on it

You either dont make time or wont make time.

Beachbody has all kinds of routines. 10 Minute Trainer is, take a guess, only ten minutes.  Shakeology workouts are around 20 minutes.  These are really great ways to start out.  Especially if you are doing a meal replacement shake (like Shakeology) and working out.

But the amazing thing that I found out personally… If you make time to workout, you will actually have more time!

What?!?  That doesnt make sense??!

Yes… it does.

When you work out and stay in shape, and commit to get fit, you get more energy, more energy means less of that lazy time where you just have to take a break, you find that you just keep moving because you want to.  So you get more done, it motivates everything you do.  Getting fit has a great ripple effect that will go through your whole life.

This Is A First

I just got done with my evening work out, and I find that I am so excited for what happens in 7 days.  I get to take my round of monthly pictures!  I can honestly say that this is the first time I am really excited about it.  This month I have been very intense with my work outs, really strict on the types of food I’ve been eating, and have added Shakeology to replace my evening meal.  I am just pumped and so motivated, I hope its making its way out to other people.

On another side note.  Being a Beach Body coach has been incredible, what an amazing feeling and motivation.  I have this great group of people that I am attempting to help through P90X.  I hope I am doing a good job for them.  They all seem like really cool people.  I’ve posted a bit about Alonna.  I think I will post about Jade next.  She is a spit fire and just really cool and funny.  But being a Beachbody coach has really motivated me to do better.  Instead of it just being me, I have this added responsibility. I dont know, fun stuff!

So this isnt really a whole lot to do with anything, just a bit of rambling, but the other epiphany that I really landed on this week, is your motivation and inspiration wont come to you… you’ve got to go to it.  Heres an example… I have a crap memory, soooo, I do things to help myself.  i place the mail by the door so that i see it in the morning to grab it, I’ll do all sorts of things like that.  Well, I think it’s the same with motivation.  We have to do things to make ourselves be motivated.  We have to keep chasing it down.  Our dreams wont come and curl up on the couch with us, and they arent going to just slip into bed and sleep in on a saturday morning with us.  They are out there, teasing us, saying come get me, but you have to earn me!

Mocha Madness
1 cup water
1/2 almond milk
1 cup of water with 1 tbsp instant coffee disovled – pour over ice after it disolves!
then add 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology powder
Ice to taste
Sweeten if desired :)

STRAWBERRY PEACH SURPRISE
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
½ cup frozen peaches
1 scoop Berry Shakeology powder
3/4 cup water
Ice to taste

Chocolate covered bananas
1/2 banana
1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology powder
1/2 cup water
¼ cup non-fat soy, rice or almond milk
Ice to taste

Yogo Berry Blast
8- oz water
1- scoop of greenberry shakeology
1- cup of frozen mixed berries
1- 4 oz container of Dannon Light & Fit yogurt vanillia

Reeses PB Cup
1 Tbsp natural almond or peanut butter
1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology powder
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup Almond Milk
Ice to taste

CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES
1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology powder
1 cup water
1/2 almond milk
1/2 cup frozen strawberries

BLUES BUSTER
½ cup combined frozen blueberries and blackberries
1 tsp fresh orange juice
1 Tbsp non-fat blueberry yogurt
1 scoop Berry Shakeology powder
3/4 cup of water
Ice

Orange Julius
1 scoop GreenBerry
1 cup of water
1/2 cup almond milk
1 packet Crystal light Sugar free “Classic Orange” or “Sunrise”
Ice (I put in like 2 cups of ice)

CARL DAIKELER SPECIAL
1.5 scoop Chocolate Shakeology powder
1 banana
1 Tbsp almond or peanut butter (or to taste)
