If there is one thing that is for sure, we’re not living right. I’ll narrow it down a little bit though. As far as our fitness and nutrition, we’re not living right. I’m not sure that anyone would or even could argue against that fact. Obesity has skyrocketed in both adults and children, disease running rampant, food nutritionally defunct, we are constantly moving towards less and less moving (ironic isnt it?). The system is flat out broke.
We’ve gone from single cheese burgers, to double quarter pounders with cheese.
Most people dont even know what a healthy weight is any more.
The solution is NOT trying to somehow make our current system work. It’s NOT going to be a pill that lets us eat whatever we want. Its NOT figuring out how to put a band on the stomach to lessen what we eat.
The system IS: learning how to do things differently. Eating different, exercising, and making lifestyle changes.
That is why I like P90X, Insanity, Turbo Fire, and all that Beachbody does. The people who are successful through the programs achieve lifestyle changes. That where the solution is.
Gimmicks arent going to work. 10 minutes a day 3 days a week isnt going to work. We need real change. We need 24 hour a day lifestyle change!
