thats all 300x226 Rounding 3rd and Heading Home

Today I finished week 12 of P90X again. I ran instead of doing Kenpo X. I’m training for a 1/2 marathon coming up. I’ve got to admit I was a bit nervous about it, but after todays run I’m feeling really strong about it. Ran solid for an hour an ten minutes, wasnt winded at all and could have easily pushed for more. All while being in the phase 1 nutrition plan (low carb).

I decided this time to actually follow the advice and week 13 will be a recovery week, along with an additional recovery week after that, to really let my body adjust. I’m feeling great though!

This time around I graduated to unassisted pull ups! I’m very excited about it!! Yesterday I was able to knock out 75 unassisted with four different varieties. Also this time around I was able to do Ab Ripper X all the way through in the end months.

For recovery I probably wont be following the P90X schedule. I’m going to get some running in to get ready, probably do Intervals X from the Plus series, and Cardio Intervals from the One on One series.

I’ve dropped to the lowest weight I’ve been since I can remember. The earliest I can remember looking at the scale and taking notice was either late high school or right after and I was 180. Right now I’m weighing in at 176.4!!  I want to get around the 170 mark and see what happens there.

I’ve gotten some of the coolest customers and coaches that have come on recently.

John is a customer and coach and owns a protection dog company. The guy is just really neat and cool!  It seems like he’s lived a really interesting life and I’m really pulling for him to crush P90X and come back for seconds.

Caleb just completed his first round and the guy just got amazing results. Really floored me!!

Greg just started and he is so excited. It’s been a lot of fun talking to him about all the workouts. Reminds me of the first time I did them.

So many others too!  I feel really lucky to be part of this and doing everything that I am. I’m very thankful that Beachbody offers this opportunity.

OH!  and I’m heading to Columbus to do a live work out with Shaun T, the guy who created Insanity. I CAN NOT WAIT! Should be pretty awesome.  So far a bunch of good people are heading up. Like a caravan of fitness and fun.

I may be getting close to saying thats all folks to this round, but I’m looking to the future for the next round and I’m excited!
