P90X Yoga X
When I first started P90X I had never done yoga before. Yoga X was definitely a first for me, and I had no idea what to expect, but whatever it was I expected it to be a water down version of yoga.
It’s not
Yoga X combines strength, balance, flexibility, and breath work to compliment the rest of your work out in only a way that yoga can.
I will detail the moves as best I can, and I apologize for any misspellings, I am not sure on the spelling of the moves. This is the best order I can come up with.
Mountain pose
Side Stretch
Vin asana series. Between each pose you go to cha taranga. Plank, to upward dog, to plank, to downward dog.
3 Sun Salutations
Runners pose to runners stretch
Crescent pose
Warrior 1
Warrior 2
Reverse Warrior
Triangle Pose
Twisting triangle pose
Chair pose, to twisting chair pose on each side
Right angle pose, extended right angle pose
Twisting prayer while in a lunge
Warrior 3
Half moon
Twisting half moon.
Next up are the balance poses! Whew, yes, its a lot.
Tree
Royal dancer
Crane
Bow
Boat
and a ton more stretches and poses!
Dont for one second think that it is “watered down” yoga… It’s Yoga X baby. And if you really feel like stepping it up, they do pushups in between each vinyasa flow!
