2011 the Year of End the Trend

2011 might be the year of the rabbit for the Chinese calendar, but for Team Beachbody it’s the year to End the Trend!

This morning I went to a 2011 kick off meeting for Team Beachbody. December 31, 2010 I celebrated my one year anniversary as a coach for Team Beachbody. This was one awesome way to kick off 2011!!  The first thing they announced was the End the Trend for 2011. In a country that is 66% obese or overweight, it is awesome being part of the solution. Even more than a solution. It’s the makes sense, non drug, non surgery, healthy solution. Exercise and nutrition.

I am so jazzed to be part of this company and ready for 2011. Last year Beachbody paid out a total of $35,000,000 to coaches, this year I bet we blow that number out of the water!

Get on board today. Contact me and lets get moving towards your goals, fitness, financial, whatever they are. Make 2011 YOUR year!

Whew! It’s been a while

I havent kept up with the blog recently, but here I am!

2 weeks ago I deiced to make a major change, and I switched to Turbo Fire.  I needed to give resistance training a bit of a break, 1 recovery week wasnt getting me back to where I needed to be.  Then I got sick.  First time in 2 years i believe.  So I stopped working out for 4 days.  It’s so odd.  One point in time I’m sure it had been years between workouts. Now, 4 days seems like forever.  It’s a great habit to have. It took a while to build, but it is here to stay and it feels great.

So far in to Turbo Fire I’m really digging it. It’s not something I would normally do, but now that I’m doing it, it will give me just the right amount of what I’m looking for.  Today was the Core 20 and Stretch 40.  Core 20 is an ab workout, gotta say, although it’s light in some areas, it’s really heavy in others.  Stretch 40 is pretty much a 40 minute yoga work out, and it has some stretches in it I have never done before… loving it!  Really improving my hamstrings, thank God cause they are sooo tight!!

The Beachbody Coach business is going awesome!  I am so glad to be part of it.

Other than that, not too many updates for anything. Leave me some comments!

Motivation for Working Out

Ok, just a warning… you will probably find this silly and laughable, but thats ok!

Sometimes when I’m working out, and I’m battling that half of me that wants to give up, I pretend I’m a super hero!  Batman, Superman, any of them, or maybe just Goku or Naruto.

Why?

Cause they bring it without a doubt.  They are Bad A**

Also… because they are tempted every time.  Nearly every story we know, there is adversity.  Superheros get a beat down before they come back.  And I dont think for one second that they arent tempted to give up.  They are hurt, cracked ribs, broken spirits…

But they overcome the desire to quit, they dig deep and steady their resolve and pursue what they know is right.

Like them, I face the decision head on and conquer the part that says quit, relax, take it easy, you’ve done enough.  I want to be the winner, I want to be the victor.

What do you want to be?

Comic books would be so boring if the heros gave up
