Just a short video about my experience with panic and anxiety attacks, and how fitness helped me with it.
I Might Like You Better if We Slept Together
It’s a song by Romeo Void, and it’s also what your body says to you.
No matter what way you slice it, you need sleep. Your body needs to rest and recover, especially if you are working out. It is when your body recovers and mends itself. Your muscles actually get a chance to fully relax and all these little gizmos flow through your bloodstream and work at repairing your muscles with all the tools they have (what you’ve been eating).
If you are working out, and not getting enough sleep, you are depleting your body, and the same goes for eating. I know that we live in a fast paced world and a workout routine in addition to everything else means its even faster paced, but try to at least get 7 hours in. You are the one who knows your body best and you will be able to tell when you are dragging. Your mental clarity will suffer, your physical performance will suffer.
There is a commercial out now for Direct TV. The premise is this guy got an HDTV and hooked it up to cable. This other guy asks him, if you had a lamborghini (sp) would you put low grade gas in it? Well it really is fitting. But if you had one, would you park it in the rain? or the garage? Yes, we all know during the day you would park that puppy out where everyone could see it! But when it was time to put it up you would take care of it. Well sleep takes care of your body, so do your body a favor!
It might like you better if you slept together :)

Monday Motivation: Because Your Life Depends on it
Lets face facts. We have a limit number of years to enjoy this life, and as it goes on they get fewer and go by faster. We have the choice to either extend this precious time, or race off to the grave.
So here are your choices.
Racing towards the grave: Ignore what you eat, dont give it a second though, act like you’re too busy to take care of yourself, ignore your health, pretend that it’s too hard, clog your arteries with grease, ignore the surgeon general on smoking, be weak willed, dont do half the things you want to in life because you dont have the energy.
or
Invest in yourself: Eating right and exercise are two ways that you must invest in yourself. Your health is one of the most important investments you will ever have. Without your health, you dont have anything. Without your health you are either A. lying in a hospital bed or B. Not. Daily fitness and proper nutrition are a must. And while you’re at it, trying smiling, laughing, reading, and connecting with other people. Just suggestions though.
You either take time for your health now, or you take time to deal with your sickness later. 2 options.
