PX90 or P90X however you slice it Plyometrics is one intense ride. You might be asking the same question I was when I first tried it. It’s jump training. Your feet are off the ground! Jumping left, jumping right, back, forward, side to side.
It starts off with a quick warm up, then you really get right into it. Squats, squat reach jump, run stance switch, on and on and on. It is fun, but it will take everything out of you. The “mother of all moves” as they call it is the jump knee tuck. Jumping straight up and bringing your knees up to your upper body.
Other interesting movies are rock star hops, just like it sounds, your jumping up and you have your legs come up, like you’re jamming on guitar. Jack squats, an insane mixture of squats and jumping jacks.
The first time I tried plyometrics, all i can say is wow, I wasnt sure if wanted to puke, stop breathing, or crawl to a window and try to jump out, no worries though, my legs were so hit that i could never have gotten out the window.
But that being said, its a great work out. Its cardio, mixed with an incredible leg work out.
If you have any questions, email me! I’d love to help you out.
