I wanted to take a minute to share with you why P90X and other Beachbody programs work so well.
There are a couple that stand out very clearly
- The workouts are designed by top trainers, and incorporate great moves, and a great variety packed in so that the body doesnt get used to them. Muscle confusion, cardio confusion, intervals.
- The nutrition plan is top notch. It is a shining example of what everyones nutrition should be.
- Team Beachbody and coaches help to keep people focused and motivated.
But is there more?
The one big thing that these programs help do is shift peoples thought patterns, from “I can’t” to “I can”.
We are constantly creating habits, they are either good or bad. I’m sure if you take a look around you will be able to see who is forming what habits, and all in all, what habits we have picked up as a country.
P90X and any work out program for that matter (any good one) works to help the user create new, good habits.
If you work out for 90 days straight, at the end of that 90 days, you will not be the same person. Not physically, emotionally, or mentally. You will have created a new habit for yourself.
I believe this is also what makes the program so difficult and yet so successful.
If you stand your ground and make the choice that you will get through the program, you will have developed a new health conscious habit.
P90X is helping to make a huge paradigm shift in the way people in America are living, it is evidenced by all the transformation videos, all the people who are taking charge of their health. I can testify from my own story to that, along with many, many other people.
